Technician Mobile App Guide
Quick search…⌘K
The Auto Glass Technician App is a React Native application available on iOS and Android. It is the primary tool for technicians in the field — managing routes, completing work orders, scanning parts, logging ADAS calibrations, and capturing customer signatures digitally.
Offline Mode: The app works fully offline. If you lose signal during a job, all actions (photos, signatures, notes, calibration logs) are saved locally and automatically synced when connectivity is restored. A green/yellow/red signal indicator appears in the top-right corner of the app.

Common App Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| App won't open / crashes on launch | Force-close app; wait 10 sec; reopen. If persists, restart phone. Contact support if continues. |
| Photos not saving / camera error | Go to phone Settings → Auto Glass App → Permissions → enable Camera + Photos. Restart app. |
| Part barcode won't scan | Clean camera lens. If barcode is damaged, tap "Enter Manually" and type the part number from label. |
| Job doesn't appear on my route | Pull down to refresh job list. If still missing, contact dispatcher — job may not be assigned yet. |
| Signature screen not responding | Ask customer to sign with fingertip (not fingernail). Clean screen if smudged. Stylus also works. |
| Work order won't submit | Check the red alert banner at top of screen — it will list exactly which required fields are missing. |
